The coming year will be a busy one in Palatine, with more than $$11.5 million budgeted for 61 projects, from streets to sewers, flood control to forestry. Here's a quick look at some of the projects in the works for 2007. Pedestrian Improvements: Pedestrian signals at Palatine at Quentin Road, and Northwest Highway at Sterling Drive. Sidewalks on Rand Road from Dundee to Williams; Northwest Highway from Williams Drive to Warren Drive; and Northwest Highway from Morrison Avenue to Palos Avenue.
