| Brad Menna takes his mountain bike off-trail just to get "lost" deep in the woods of the Palos-Sag Valley Forest Preserve and for the thrill of riding up and down steep ravines. But the Cook County Forest Preserve District wants to bring most of its 67,000 acres back to how it looked before pioneers settled here and that would mean taking a huge chunk of riding territory away from mountain bicyclists.
