| A group of St. Charles Township homeowners suffered a setback Tuesday in their fight to keep their backyards from becoming part of a public bicycle path. The Kane County Board of Commissioners failed to come up with enough votes to prohibit the Kane County Forest Preserve District from acquiring the property without consent of the owners.
