French voyageurs, Irish musicians, ducks, rabbits and politicians showed up for the dedication of a rehabbed old limestone house that is the new headquarters of the Illinois & Michigan Canal National Heritage Corridor (AKA: I & M Canal Trail). The event last week in Lockport was a celebration of the 7-year-old corridor, a linear park linking historic and natural sites in the area's biggest greenway project.
